Message from the CEO
|
The origins of our company date back to 1889, in the United States, when
it was founded as The Boston Blacking Company. For more than a century,
developing superior adhesives has been in our DNA. Our company was
built, unit by unit, business by business, on strong local cultures with
each region having its own unique story.
Today, we are proud to be a global market leader in high-performing
bonding and sealing solutions. From cradle to grave, from home to
office, Bostik’s high-tech adhesive solutions can be found everywhere in
daily life.
But in a world where population growth is projected to
approach 9 billion by 2050, our greatest challenge is to contribute
responsibly to improving peoples’ daily lives by providing what we do
best: innovative bonding and sealing solutions in building and home
improvement, hygiene, transportation and food packaging.
Today, we have over 4,500 employees working in more than 50 countries,
and are proud of the strong bonds we have created with our customers,
our suppliers and with each other. Each day at Bostik, we strive to
demonstrate our core values through the Bostik way, creating “Stronger Bonds for a Better Life”.
