STICKS LIKE SH*T INSTANT GRAB
Suitable for interior and exterior use and resistant to moisture, weather and UV, it bonds a wide range of building materials and stays flexible under movement and vibration without cracking. That makes it a reliable, all-round adhesive for construction, fit-out, cabinetry and maintenance work.
Why choose Sticks Like Sh*t Instant Grab?
Its extreme initial grab holds materials on contact, removing the need for props, clamps or bracing while it cures. It develops a high-strength, rigid bond that stays put under load, yet flexes with vibration and structural movement without cracking. Designed for interior and exterior use, it is moisture, weather and UV resistant, so one product covers a broad span of jobs.
It also bonds without primer on most surfaces, including many that are slightly damp, cutting prep time on site. The clean, low-odour formula contains no isocyanates or solvents and won't shrink or bubble, and it is non-corrosive on metals. Strong low-emission credentials include EMICODE EC1 Plus, M1 Certified, A+ French VOC and ISEGA certification.
Where to use it
Sticks Like Sh*t Instant Grab is a universal bonding adhesive for most building materials. It bonds metals such as aluminium (incl. ALUCOBOND®), stainless and galvanised steel (incl. COLORBOND®), copper, lead, zinc and alloys; masonry and mineral surfaces such as stone, concrete, ceramic and enamel; boards and panels including plasterboard, HPL and cement-fibre panels, timber and paint systems; and plastics and glass such as PVC, hard plastics, polyurethane, glass and mirrors. Refer to the TDS for plastic and glass limitations.

Smart Advantages
What is Bostik Sticks Like Sh*t Instant Grab?
Bostik Sticks Like Sh*t Instant Grab is a high-quality, professional adhesive with an extremely high initial grab. It's based on advanced hybrid technology and cures under atmospheric moisture to form a durable, elastic rubber bond - designed to hold instantly across a wide range of materials, indoors and out.
What surfaces can it bond to?
It's a universal adhesive that bonds to most building materials, including:
- Metals - aluminium (incl. ALUCOBOND®), stainless & galvanised steel (incl. COLORBOND®), copper, lead, zinc and alloys
- Stone, concrete, ceramic and enamel
- Plasterboard, HPL and cement-fibre panels
- Timber and paint systems
- PVC, hard plastics and polyurethane
- Glass and mirrors
Can I use it on damp surfaces?
Yes. It adheres well to most surfaces even when slightly damp, with no primer needed. It is not suitable for continuous water exposure or permanently submerged surfaces.
Is it suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. It's moisture, weather, and UV resistant - suitable for both interior and exterior applications.
Do I need to use a primer?
In most cases, no. It adheres without a primer on most surfaces. Porous substrates should be pre-treated with Bostik Simson Prep P Primer.
How do I apply it?
Apply the adhesive in vertical stripes, leaving 10–20 cm between each stripe. Use the supplied V-nozzle facing upwards to form a triangular peaked bead - do not apply in dots. Press the materials firmly together, maintaining a minimum adhesive thickness of 2–3 mm between the surfaces.
How long does it take to cure?
- Initial grab: Instant
- Skin time: ~10–20 minutes (at 23°C / 50% RH)
- Cure rate: approximately 2–3 mm per day, depending on conditions
What temperatures can it handle?
- Application: +5°C to +40°C
- Service range: -40°C to +90°C
Can I use it on vertical or overhead surfaces?
Its extreme initial grab means no props or clamps are needed on most jobs.
Why don't you list a hold weight or "kg per m²" figure?
Headline "holding power" figures aren't backed by any recognised, standardised test method (like tensile, lap shear or peel strength) - they're a marketing measure of initial grab, not long-term bond strength. Instead, we publish genuinely tested performance data in our TDS, measured to recognised ISO standards. For load-bearing applications, we recommend testing under your own conditions or contacting our technical team
How do I clean up?
Remove excess uncured adhesive immediately with a damp cloth or water - cured adhesive can only be removed mechanically. Use Bostik Handy Wipes to remove any adhesive from skin.
Are there any surfaces it won’t stick to?
Avoid using on PE, PP, PC, PMMA, PTFE, soft plastics, neoprene and bituminous substrates. It's also not suitable for movement joints, continuously wet or submerged areas, or in combination with chlorides (e.g. pools).
