Dear Valued Customer,
Bostik is closely monitoring, on a worldwide basis, the situation linked to the COVID-19 outbreak and its potential impacts in our Supply Chain.
Our first priority is the health and safety of our customers, employees and business partners, so clear Health and Safety Guidelines have been implemented to keep all our stakeholders safe, in full compliance with regulatory and health measures of each country. Among those measures are travel bans and large meeting restrictions to assure we do our part in mitigating risks. That means you may see less of your Bostik representative for a period. However, rest assured we will continue to serve you in a timely manner and you can count on the support and service of our teams. We are here to serve you.
In terms of Supply Chain, we would like to clarify to our customers that:
- The Bostik Australia Supply Chain has very limited exposure to China, Korea and other countries affected by Business interruptions
- For many years Bostik has established dual sourcing Raw Materials availability for the majority of our supplies
- At this point, all our plants across the world are operating normally and fully able to supply our customers on regular lead times
However, given the uncertainty of the epidemiological evolvement of the COVID-19 virus and its potential and unpredictable consequences in the whole Supply Chain, it is impossible to make guarantees for the future. Hence, considering the possibility of disruptions in transportation and supply chain as a whole, we will make the utmost effort to have the necessary stocks for this period of uncertainty.
We would kindly suggest that you evaluate your stock of Bostik products and place your orders as far in advance as possible, so we can work to serve you better and to assure business continuity.
We are monitoring the situation on a daily basis and we will keep you informed of changes.
We’d like to thank you for your partnership and trust. We’re committed to closely handle this situation in order to keep the highest standards of Health, Safety and Service.
