Bostik was an active participant at the FEICA 2018 annual European Adhesive and Sealant Conference which took place in Riga, Latvia on 12-14 September. As part of its support for the event, Bostik sponsored the Welcome Cocktail for over 550 international delegates which was held on 12 September. During his address, Roland Albers (Bostik Senior Vice President – Construction & Consumer Global Business Unit) welcomed the delegates and set the scene for what would become a memorable event.
Complementing the theme of the conference, ‘Adhesives & Sealants in the Digital Age’, Bostik treated the delegates to an Augmented Reality experience. Following a spectacular countdown, attendees prepared for an expedition through the jungle, led by the ‘smart’ Bostik gecko. The countdown was displayed live on a specially installed video wall and the attendees participated in the Augmented Reality experience through tablet devices which were distributed.
