Product overview
Simson Cofix S is a solvent- and polychloroprene (PCP) based, sprayable contact adhesive, specifically developed for Marine interior decorating applications. Cofix S possesses an excellent initial tack and temperature resistance. The adhesive is self-crosslinking and has good spraying properties. Cofix S has no residual tack. Cofix S is tested and certified to the International Maritime Organisation Fire Test Procedures for Surface Flammability, resolution A.653 (16) and has been approved for application throughout the whole accommodation (bulkhead, ceiling and deck finish).

Method Of Use Basic information: The materials to be bonded have to be properly clean, dry and free from dust and grease. Application equipment: Because of the great variety of application equipment, it is advisable to get well informed. Do not hesitate to contact Bostik for a custom made advice. Directions for use: Cofix S has to be applied two-sided in a thin and homogeneous film by means of a spray gun. Spray distance: approximately 20 cm. The elements have to be joined together within the given open time (see technical data). It is obvious that the working conditions (temperature, relative humidity, etc.) can influence the bonding process (speed, open time, pressure, etc.). Cofix S contains volatile solvents. Please take care of good ventilation. Cleaning/Diluting: Solvent P.
