Brands and countries

Bostik’s in-house experts will be on hand at The Flooring Show to demonstrate the company’s latest products, and to discuss the training opportunities available through the state-of-the-art Bostik Academy.
In addition, the stand will also feature merchandise giveaways and a competition to win a £250 Amazon voucher.

Exclusive Glass Ball technology

Among the new products being demonstrated is STIX A600 EVOLUTION, a soft floor adhesive that contains exclusive Glass Ball technology, which enhances the product’s handling performance and coverage rate. The technology consists of micro spheres of glass in combination with specific dispersions and raw materials, making it possible for Bostik to significantly reduce the density of the adhesive while still maintaining a high performance. This results in a high yield, with STIX A600 EVOLUTION able to cover a surface area up to 30% larger than that covered by the same quantity in weight of a standard soft floor adhesive.

The team will also be demonstrating the RENO P520 EASY – a solvent-free repair resin system for fixing non-structural cracks in screeds. It has a fast drying time of just 30 minutes, and minimises any mess as it can be mixed directly within its containers, which makes it quick and easy to use.

Among the new smoothing compounds is SL C780 FLEX, a flexible, fibre-reinforced product that is well suited for application on to wooden floors. This single component smoothing compound can be used on internal floors in new build and renovation projects. SL C780 FLEX is pumpable and rapid setting, being able to accept foot traffic in around four hours and floor coverings after 24 hours. It is certified EC1 for low VOC emissions and can be applied over most common substrates, as well as with underfloor heating systems.

Bostik products will also be on display in the Demo Zone, run by the Flooring Industry Training Association (FITA) and supported by the Contract Flooring Association (CFA) and National Institute of Carpet & Floorlayers (NICF). Various demonstrations will be taking place throughout the exhibition, with the teams sharing new floor laying techniques and insights into working with the latest products.
