SF10M: revolutionising recyclable packaging
Bostik's SF10M adhesive marks a turning point in the packaging industry, brilliantly meeting the complex challenges of the circular economy while redefining industry standards. Bostik adhesives developed for first recyclable wind turbine blade
Bostik is playing a key role in the ZEBRA (Zero wastE Blade ReseArch) project - alongside its parent company Arkema and other industrial and technical partners - a collaborative programme aimed at demonstrating the technical, economic and environmental feasibility of 100% recyclable wind turbine blades.
As the adhesive segment of Arkema, Bostik has developed an innovative adhesive dedicated to the assembly of these blades that can be recycled with Elium® resin, paving the way for industrial-scale implementation. This collaborative project marks a significant advance in the complete recycling of thermoplastic blades, enabling the carbon footprint of the blades to be considerably reduced. ISR 70-03: safety and performance
Bostik has developed ISR 70-03 FR, an innovative adhesive that has significantly improved safety in the rail and automotive industries. This Silyl Modified Polymer (SMP) adhesive is the first of its kind to meet the strict requirements of the European fire protection standard EN45545-2, offering superior flame retardant properties and excellent resistance to UV, temperature variations and general weathering.
