Bostik, the adhesive solutions segment of Arkema, announced that manufacturers who have relied on UNI-REZ® polyamide adhesive products can access Bostik’s alternative solutions to reduce potential impact stemming from the UNI-REZ producer’s plant closure.
Bostik’s polyamide adhesive alternatives to UNI-REZ products include:
- HM4229: Designed for assembly, automotive and packaging applications, it features excellent plasticizer resistance, low application viscosity and versatile adhesion to substrates including wood, metal, and plastics.
- Thermelt® 892: Suitable for automotive air filter and packaging applications, this polyamide offers heat, chemical, and grease resistance with moderate flexibility and a fast set speed.
- Thermelt® 159: Used in media pleating for air filter applications, it is non-reactive and solvent free.
With the supplier discontinuing certain product lines because of its plant closure, Bostik is well-positioned to support the market with competitive alternatives.
