Applications

We offer a comprehensive marine interior sealant range covering the full spectrum of applications. Whether it’s for decoration, material coverings, lamination, general sealing or woodworking jobs, we’ve got the right product for your project. Our sealants cure to create extremely tough, resilient seals, which exhibit excellent tear and abrasion resistance while retaining permanent elastomeric properties. Our products possess tenacious adhesion to most common marine substrates, including virtually all woods, metal, FRP and most plastics.

As well as sealants for aesthetic purposes, we also offer products based on silicone technologies for tiling and primerless sealing in wet rooms that demonstrate excellent mold resistance and are also neutral curing.

Plus, our silicone-based fire joint sealant products provide the perfect solutions for creating fireproofing seals for below deck interior applications.

Safety standards

Most of our products for marine applications have been certified by independent notified bodies and comply with the requirements contained in the European Marine Equipment Directive (MED).

Certified products can be recognized by the CE logo which guarantees that the product has passed the IMO tests for low flame spread.

MSR CA (sskf) has also been tested and certified according to DNV-GL structural glazing procedures. It has been approved as class A and B adhesive for nautical window bonding.
