Porcelain tiles are generally denser and more durable than ceramic tiles, making them ideal for light and heavy traffic flooring installations. These materials are also classified as impervious, meaning they have a water absorption rating of 0.5% or less, making them well suited for wet environment applications such as in kitchens and bathrooms.
