The h&b Group now has over 100 merchant members and more than 350 supplier agreements. The group’s Lightside committee had been impressed over the last year by Bostik’s commitment to ensuring consistent supplies to members, as well as to building relationships within the buying group, despite the challenging conditions brought about by the pandemic and global shortages of raw materials.
As well as offering a “friendly, helpful service”, members felt Bostik had contributed towards the added value that the h&b Group strives to provide to members’ businesses, with product supplies described as, “Reliable and competitively priced.”
Bostik was praised for its efforts in communication to ensure members were provided with regular updates during the resolution of any issues: “Throughout the pandemic, they have tried their upmost to keep us in the loop with developments and updates on any product shortages plus offering alternatives, whether it be through the h&b portal or via the local representative.”
In the face of the raw material issues experienced by many lightside suppliers over the past 12 months, Bostik served h&b Group’s members well and strived to go the extra mile. One member commented, “Bostik has continually supported the members this year and their allocation system has seemingly ensured that members always have product available, rather than nothing on the shelf.”
Commenting on the award, Shaun Lee, Bostik’s Commercial Manager – Consumer and Trade, said, “This is a brilliant achievement and the whole Bostik team should be proud of the work everyone has done.
