Dear valued customer,

The evolving conflict in the Middle East continues to create uncertainty across global supply chains, transportation corridors and energy markets. At Bostik, we are closely monitoring these developments and would like to update you on the measures we have taken to safeguard service continuity for our Construction & Consumer (C&C) business.

At this time, C&C operations remain stable. Our production, sales and distribution activities within C&C are currently not experiencing material disruption, and we continue to serve our customers without significant disruption. Nevertheless, the situation remains fluid, and several key global trade routes — including the Strait of Hormuz, the Red Sea, and the Suez Canal — are subject to operational and security constraints. While these conditions have not substantially impacted our supply flows to date, they limit our short- to mid-term visibility.

To mitigate potential risks, our teams are fully mobilized and actively engaged in:

  • Real-time monitoring of regional and global logistics developments.
  • Strengthening supply resilience, including assessing alternative qualified suppliers where feasible and reviewing existing supply arrangements. Adjusting inventories where possible to enhance continuity across our main regions (EU, US and APAC).
  • Securing transportation capacity, including establishing alternative routing options should primary routes face constraints.
  • Ensuring full compliance, with strict adherence to export-control procedures and regulatory requirements.

It is important to note that continued instability in the region may result in temporary surcharges linked to energy, logistics, or raw material costs. Should external cost pressures persist, pricing adjustments may become necessary. In either case, we will communicate transparently and as early as reasonably possible.

Given the rapidly changing environment, we are taking a day-by-day approach and remain committed to minimizing potential disruption to your business where reasonably possible. If any confirmed orders are expected to be impacted, we will inform you promptly and work with you to identify appropriate options.
To help us plan effectively together, we encourage you to maintain close contact with your usual Bostik representative and to place upcoming orders early whenever feasible.

We sincerely appreciate your continued trust, partnership, and understanding during this period of uncertainty. Our teams remain committed to supporting your business requests and working to enable continuity of service.

This communication reflects the specific situation and logistics environment affecting the Bostik Construction & Consumer business at the date of issuance and is provided for general information purposes only. It does not constitute a guarantee or commitment regarding supply, delivery, or pricing, and it does not supersede or modify any contractual terms in force between the parties. Bostik cannot be held liable for impacts arising from external factors beyond its reasonable control.

Kind regards,
Belgin KÖSE
Senior Vice-President Construction & Consumer
