A. Presentation of the Artificial Intelligence System

The BOSTIK website integrates an artificial intelligence system (hereinafter referred to as “the Chatbot”) designed to assist users in their navigation, provide general information, and respond to certain queries. This system is based on machine learning algorithms and may generate responses automatically, without direct human intervention.

B. Transparency and System Limitations

The user is informed that:

The Chatbot may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated responses.

The Chatbot does not in any way replace professional, legal, medical, financial, or other types of advice.

The Chatbot’s performance may vary depending on the context of use, the phrasing of queries, and the data available.

The Chatbot is constantly evolving and therefore provides no guarantees.

C. User’s Acceptance of Risks and BOSTIK’s Disclaimer of Liability

By using the Chatbot, the user expressly acknowledges and accepts that:

BOSTIK shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect, material or immaterial damage resulting from the use or inability to use the Chatbot.

D. “As-Is” Provision Clause

The Chatbot is provided “as is,” without any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of performance, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free operation.

E. Permitted and Prohibited Uses

The user agrees to:

Not misuse the Chatbot for illegal, discriminatory, defamatory, or public order–violating purposes.

Not attempt to manipulate, disassemble, or reverse-engineer the system.

Not use the generated responses as the sole basis for making decisions with significant legal, financial, or personal consequences.

F. Personal Data and Confidentiality

The use of the Chatbot may involve the processing of personal data. No sensitive data should be communicated via the Chatbot. BOSTIK shall not be held liable for any data loss, information loss, or disclosure resulting from the use of the Chatbot.

G. Liability and Regulatory Cooperation

BOSTIK implements security, monitoring, and documentation measures in accordance with the AI Act. In the event of an audit by a competent authority, the user agrees to reasonably cooperate with BOSTIK, within the limits of their legal obligations.

H. System and Terms Evolution

BOSTIK reserves the right to modify, suspend, or remove the Chatbot at any time without prior notice. These terms may be amended to reflect technological, regulatory, or contractual developments.

I. Third-Party Provider and Additional Terms

The Chatbot may be operated, in whole or in part, by a third-party provider specializing in artificial intelligence technologies. Consequently, the use of the Chatbot may be subject to additional terms of use issued by this third party. The user acknowledges and agrees that such terms may apply cumulatively with these Terms of Use. The user agrees to review and comply with them. BOSTIK shall not be held liable for any consequences resulting from the user’s failure to comply with such third-party terms.”
