For over 50 years, Bostik’s Never-Seez® has been an industry-leading thread lubricant applied to nut and bolt assemblies. Serving as a protective coating, it remains on metal parts even after extended exposure to the elements.

Comprised of various grades, take a closer look at some of their specific characteristics and applications as well as Never-Seez’s OEM certifications.

Regular Grade:

Copper-based, this type of Never-Seez protects parts against the following in particular:

Rust and corrosion

Excessive wear due to extreme pressure and/or high temperatures

Additionally, with a temperature range of -297 to 1800°F, the Regular Grade product provides protection for easier dis-assembly. This allows for faster, more accurate repairs.

Nickel Special:

This premium anti-seize is recommended for use where the presence of copper is prohibited. It protects parts against the following:

Higher temperatures, up to 2400°F

Corrosive, acidic and caustic environments

It’s important to note that Nickel Special is slightly different that Nuclear Grade Nickel Special. Nuclear Grade is used in nuclear power plants and where specified by NRC.

Black Moly:

Withstanding pressures up to 500,000 psi and temperatures up to 740°F, Black Moly is designed to provide excellent protection in areas of extreme pressure.

Never-Seez Applications:

These MRO products aid in various applications, such as:

  • Brake pads
  • Oxygen sensors
  • Spark plugs
