Glulam Adhesives
Meet Glulam Code Requirements
When designing glulam applications, your mass timber adhesives must meet certain strength and fire code requirements. Our ISOSET™ MAX and EPI adhesives for glulam pass:
- ANSI A190.1 and CSA O122 standards for structural glued laminated timber
- ANSI 405 and CSA O112.9 standards for resistance to aspects such as compression loading, delamination, deformation under static shear loading in heat and humidity
Improve Glulam Performance
Our Bostik experts understand that glulam adhesives need to possess certain performance attributes to meet end-use application requirements. Our ISOSET MAX and EPI adhesives are one-component moisture cure and two-component, emulsion polymer isocyanate technology respectively; they are formulated to offer capabilities including:
- Excellent creep, shear and tensile properties
- High resistance to moisture and humidity
- High strength and durability
