Bostik, a leading global adhesive specialist for industrial, construction and consumer markets, announced it will sponsor the Industry Preview Days’ Atwater Lounge at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, Michigan’s Cobo Center January 17, 2018.
While Detroit has hosted a regional auto show for over a century, the NAIAS as it is known today started in 1989. Since then, the show has continually redefined what it means to be innovative in the automotive industry and expanded to include six separate events within the weeklong agenda. From a private gallery night to an education day for area schools, the NAIAS also offers unmatched Industry Preview Days.
The Industry Preview Days bring together nearly 40,000 automotive professionals from around the world. Featuring the latest technologies, this event serves as a networking and development opportunity for automakers, suppliers, engineers and more.
As part of its sponsorship, Bostik invites industry professionals to join its team in the Atwater Lounge. At the event, the company will showcase innovative automotive adhesives for a variety of interior applications. From door panels and headliners to upholstery and trunk liners, these solutions improve fuel efficiency, increase durability and enhance aesthetics. Additionally, they help streamline processes, reduce waste production and decrease overall costs.
Speaking in advance of the NAIAS, Bostik’s Americas Industrial Adhesives Business Director Igor Leclere said, “We look forward to being part of the NAIAS this year. A prestigious event, we appreciate the opportunity to meet new industry professionals as well as build our relationship with existing contacts and learning how our solutions can help their companies. The NAIAS provides the ideal venue to do just that.”
