Bostik, a leading global adhesive specialist for industrial, construction and consumer markets, will present and exhibit at this year’s Pressure Sensitive Tape Council (PSTC) Tape Summit May 13-17 in Baltimore, MD.
Bringing together professionals from multiple industries, this annual event provides valuable technical seminars where attendees can learn about pressure sensitive adhesive tapes while meeting with suppliers in the exhibit hall.
This year, Bostik’s Technical Manager, Michael Vitrano, will present on butyl adhesives construction tapes on May 16. In furthering the Tape Summit’s focus on building and construction, the presentation will teach attendees about the often-overlooked benefits butyl adhesives can provide for window flashing, pressure sensitive and sealant applications.
During the May 14 poster session, Christophe Robert, Bostik’s European Technical Manager will introduce the moisture-cured PSA to the North American market. This 100% solids technology eliminates the use of solvent carriers while delivering exceptional bonding performance.
Bostik will also showcase specialty hot melt PSAs and water-based protective film solutions during the May 15 exhibition. From automotive and foam fabricating to appliances and graphics, these featured solutions streamline operational efficiencies while enhancing overall end-use product performance.
“Each year, the Tape Summit offers a great meeting place for industry experts and key suppliers, and Bostik always appreciates the opportunity participate,” said Tyler Derus, Market Manager for Converted Goods. “This year, PSTC launched the Markets and Applications track, providing a forum for business and application experts to exchange ideas centered on building and construction. I’m looking forward to chairing the morning session on Thursday, May 16.”
