Bostik CTE is a two-component, thixotropic, anti-corrosive coating system. It combines tar-epoxide resin with a modified amine hardener for exceptional protection of concrete, plaster, iron, and steel. It is ideal for drainage, sewage infrastructure, and hydraulic steel construction.

Coating for Cement Surface:

  1. Surface Preparation: Ensure a clean, open surface.
  2. Putty (Optional): Fill cavities with Bostik Patchfix Concrete/SBR mortar.
  3. Primer Coat: Mix 5–10% Bostik Thinner E with CTE. Apply uniformly with a brush.
  4. Top Coat: Mix CTE PTA and PTB (4:1 by weight). Apply two coats at 250 g/m² per coat, achieving 100-125 microns DFT.

Coating for Steel Surface:

  1. Surface Preparation: Sandblast to SA 2½ profile.
  2. Top Coat: Follow the same mix ratio and apply two coats at 200 g/m² per coat.

Application can be performed using a brush, roller, or spray.
