Water based adhesive solutions for paper & board converting
Water based adhesive are formulated with polymers dispersed in water and then combined with other ingredients, such as plasticizers, fillers and additives. These adhesives are liquid during the application process and become solid when drying as the water evaporates. They are based on different chemistries:
- VAM-based emulsions (VAE or PVA emulsions)
- Acrylic-based emulsions
- Natural based or bio-based adhesives
- Additives for water-based adhesive applications

For your different applications:

Board lamination: Water based adhesives need to create strong, consistent bonds between various board and film layers, typically requiring quick setting and flexibility.
- Box & Case folding: Adhesives must ensure strong and clean bonds for side seam, providing flexibility, fast setting and automated camera detection(UV) on high-speed production line.
- Bag & Sack manufacturing: Our adhesives provide strong, durable bonds, fast setting times, and be suitable for combining different substrates to ensure efficient high-volume production
- Core & tube winding: Providing strong bonds and fast setting time to assemble paper layer during the winding process. Our adhesives are designed to be dispersable during repulping, allowing efficient recycling
- Labeling: The adhesive should be versatile enough to bond different types of label materials, such as, glass, aluminum and plastics. They can be used for hot/cold filling applications, they have ice/water resistance and full compatible with end of line recycling of glass bottle for beverage industry (beer, soda, mineral water,etc)
- Tissue & Towel: We provide a full range of adhesives for the need of the tissue and towel market: core winding, lamination, pick up, tail seal
