Bostik to Exhibit at IDEA® 2022
Bostik, a leading, global adhesive specialist for industrial, construction and consumer markets will exhibit its extensive line of specialty hot melts, powders, webs, films, membranes and filtration adhesives for nonwoven assembly applications at this year’s IDEA® 2022 at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami Beach, FL, March 29-31, 2022.
The world’s preeminent event for nonwoven and engineered fabrics, IDEA brings together over 500 industry experts from 75 countries, enabling attendees from industries such as filtration, wipes, absorbent hygiene and more to gain key knowledge on the latest technologies and products. This year’s event also will offer educational courses for training development opportunities as well as a conference that will detail how each region’s industries have evolved in these unprecedented times.
At the show, Bostik will feature high-performing, multi-layered, technical films that are low melting to reduce energy usage and offer hydrolysis and UV resistance to improve end-use application longevity. Further, the company will showcase web adhesives that possess increased durability compared to other low melt polyolefin webs and ideal adhesion to temperature-sensitive substrates, such as polyethylene nonwovens and contoured polyester fabrics. In addition to enhancing design options, these webs offer intermittent and continuous coating capabilities, which increase manufacturing flexibilities. Additionally, Bostik will have a TPU-based membrane on display. Elastic and noise-free, this membrane further enhances end-use comfort with its waterproof and windproof capabilities.
