Bostik will exhibit a range of innovative bonding solutions, including its web, elastosol, water-based, hot melt and instant engineering adhesives, at this year’s Foam Expo North America March 24 – 26, 2020 in Novi, MI.
Foam Expo is the world’s largest exhibition and educational conference dedicated to all verticals within the technical foam products and technologies industry. This year, it is co-located with the Adhesives & Bonding Expo, where Bostik’s recently acquired company, Prochimir, will feature its line of film adhesives.
At Foam Expo, Bostik will feature web adhesives that are lightweight and easy to apply, increasing operational efficiencies. Ideal for textile laminating and foam bonding in automotive, aerospace and assembly applications, they also possess excellent adhesion to vinyls and polyurethane foams and can impart flame retardancy for needed applications. Further, these adhesives are designed for automated assembly lines, improving overall product quality and aiding in sustainability efforts.
Bostik also will showcase its new line of instant engineering adhesives, Born2Bond, at the show. Designed for electronic and micro-assembly applications, these products combine the strength of a structural adhesive with the speed of an instant adhesive, enabling “by-the-dot”, on-demand application. Technical Service Engineer for Bostik, Cyrielle Kolbecher, will present on this technology during a panel discussion at the Adhesives & Bonding Expo March 25.
Additionally, the company will feature its innovative facility in Ann Arbor, MI. This facility provides extensive adhesive testing capabilities, equipment assistance and a one-stop-shop approach to bonding needs, enabling customers to receive comprehensive, accessible solutions.
