A breakthrough in sustainable instant adhesives
Born2Bond™ Ultra K85 represents a major breakthrough in the instant adhesive market, combining exceptional durability, high performance and environmental responsibility. The product stands out for its unprecedented resistance to harsh conditions, as the first instant adhesive capable of withstanding up to 1,000 hours at 85°C and 85% relative humidity (Double 85 Test) and up to 5,000 hours on selected substrates such as ABS, setting a new benchmark for long‑term reliability.
At the same time, it incorporates 60% bio‑based raw materials derived from renewable resources, using Arkema’s Oleris® platform sourced from castor oil, delivering sustainability benefits without compromising speed, strength or durability. Featuring low‑odor and low‑blooming technology for improved user comfort and clean aesthetics, and supplied without hazard pictograms, it reflects Bostik’s commitment to more responsible, high‑performance and user‑friendly adhesive solutions.
