The house is an old villa which falls in the Residential Special Character zone overlay. The clients wanted to keep the look and feel of the villa, including the high ceilings, and timber flooring throughout and work with it rather than turn it into something very modern
THE CHALLENGE
To replace existing bathroom and add a new en suite to the main house on level 1.
Replace the bathroom and laundry on the ground level area then separate them into two separate tenancies.
