Two-part water-based acrylic water proofing membrane
Product overview
BRANZ Appraised, fibre-reinforced for increased strength, water proofing membrane. Water-based Acrylic modified cement, it is fast drying allowing for early tiling with ASA approved adhesives. Internal and external waterproofing including immersed applications such as pools and spas. This two part formulation that is available in a 20kg liquid pail and 20kg powder pail.
• Residential and commercial applications
• Use as a waterproofing membrane under tile to internal wet area shower, bathroom, kitchen, laundry & toilet areas when installed to AS/NZ 3740
• As an exposed waterproofing membrane to external applications subjected to light pedestrian traffic only
• Concrete, cement rendered masonry, FC sheeting, water resistant plasterboard, and structural plywood (Type A Stamped “PAA JASANZ” to AS/NZS2269-2004)
• Fast drying - recoat in 1-2 hours @ 20°C & 50% RH, tiling same day in most conditions
• Flood Test in 72 hours
• May be tiled directly onto with approved Bostik adhesives
• Reinforced with clump free fibres
• Easy to mix two-part components
• High resistance to detergents & bleach
• Will not re-emulsify after curing
• Does not embrittle with age
• Exposed external membrane to light pedestrian traffic areas
• Suitable for immersed applications in pools, ponds and spas
• Can be applied to damp substrates, i.e. no free water
• Brush, roller or trowel applied
