Bostik to Exhibit at International Mass Timber Conference
Bostik Performance Adhesives, formerly Ashland’s performance adhesives business prior to Bostik’s acquisition, will exhibit and feature its Isoset™ and Isogrip™ series adhesives for engineered wood and construction applications at this year’s International Mass Timber Conference April 12-14, 2022 in Portland, OR.
Marking its seventh year, Mass Timber is the largest gathering of mass timber experts from around the globe and focuses on the entire supply chain from forest, manufacturing, design, development and construction industries. This event will offer keynote, educational sessions for all attendees on topics ranging from raw material best practices to maximizing max timber’s climate benefits. Additionally, attendees can meet with industry exhibitors to learn how showcased solutions can address their construction needs and network with peers at various receptions.
At the show, Bostik Performance Adhesives will feature its new Isoset HX adhesives. These single-component, moisture-curing, structural adhesives have passed qualification requirements to achieve the PRG-320 standard for performance-rated, cross-laminated timber, ensuring their ability to offer quality assurance across application needs. Further, the Isoset HX family of adhesives has passed local code requirements for open assembly times ranging from 7 to 80 minutes, which enables increased manufacturing flexibility and maximized productivity while providing excellent structural properties for improved end-use durability.
The company’s Isogrip adhesives also will be showcased at Mass Timber. Comprised of 100% solids, they contain no VOCs or formaldehyde and are non-flammable to increase worker and occupant safety. Ideal for structural insulated panels and patio enclosures, these single-component laminating adhesives are easy to use, reduce manufacturing costs and provide excellent resistance to water, heat, chemicals while structurally bonding a wide variety of common building substrates.
