Our silyl modified polymer (SMP) truck cab roof sealants can offer:
- Ability to reduce fasteners: Our truck cab roof sealants can offer uniform seals to substrates including composites; in addition to providing a secure seal without weak spots compared to fasteners, this allows you to decrease overall cab roof weight.
- Primerless adhesion: Our sealants are formulated to offer primerless capabilities, which can reduce complexities, SKU volume and potential for rework. This portfolio includes our electrically conductive seam sealant, which eliminates the need to use a conductive primer in electrostatic paint processes by offering conductivity directly in its formulation.
- Fast cure speeds and reduced cycle times: Our dual SMP gun for truck cab roofs can yield seven times faster strength build compared to a one-component system and based on our internal testing. It also is solid after curing for one hour, which can reduce cycle times and further increase efficiency.
- Reduced hazardous material usage: These truck cab roof sealants are free of hazardous materials such as isocyanates and solvents, which can improve worker safety in addition to minimizing associated emissions.

- PLIOGRIP™ 9100 Series: These structural adhesives, including 9115 and 9120, can offer fast fixture times compared to other polyurethane solutions; they also exhibit excellent heat and humidity resistance as well as specific adhesion to many substrates including lightweight composites.
- STR220A: This multipurpose sealant offers good aging and UV resistance properties and is free of solvents, isocyanates and PVC. Additionally, it seals most coated and uncoated metals, glass, PVC, polyester and coated woods. For low surface energy substrates, such as polyolefines and PTFE, pretreatment is required.
- 70-03A: In addition to offering low sag and excellent UV and aging resistance, this silyl modified polymer product provides both sealing and bonding capabilities and is compatible with most industrial paint or lacquer systems.
- VSR400A: This sealant offers inherent electric conductivity for electrostatic paint processes, eliminating the need for a conductive primer. It can be applied via an air or electric sealant applicator and offers excellent workability and smooth application across SMCs.
