Meet Marine Interior Consumer Preferences

Our marine adhesives for interior applications can help you meet consumer preferences such as improved vessel appearance, comfort and safety by offering capabilities such as:

  • Low blooming: Our Born2BondTM instant adhesives are formulated to be low blooming, which helps reduce the likelihood of white residue during application and contributes to clean, sharp aesthetic.
  • Multi-substrate adhesion: Our marine adhesives and sealants can bond to common interior materials, such as metals, composites, woods and plastics, which can help increase design options and meet consumer style preferences.
  • Ability to eliminate fasteners: Compared to fasteners, our marine interior solutions provide uniform, consistent coverage throughout substrates, minimizing weak spots and helping provide a clean finish.
  • Ability to make repairs: Our hot melt adhesives can be available in glue stick format to help address on-the-spot repair needs and maintain the desired look.
  • Ability to increase comfort: Our specialty hot melt web adhesives bond to materials including foams, leathers and vinyls, which can help address consumer preferences for marine interiors; they also are formulated into a nonwoven material that handles like fabric. This helps contribute to their ability to be breathable, which can increase consumer comfort.
  • Flame retardancy: Certain specialty hot melt adhesives for marine interiors can be formulated with flame retardancy to address consumer preferences for safety.
