The announcement comes as global demand for LNG continues to drive investment in new carrier construction and energy infrastructure, increasing the need for resilient supply chains, proven technologies and stronger regional support. For more than 20 years, Bostik and GTT have combined complementary expertise to support the safe and reliable transportation of LNG. GTT's leadership in membrane containment technology, together with Bostik's advanced adhesive science and application expertise, has enabled the development of high-performance solutions capable of meeting the demanding requirements of LNG transportation at cryogenic temperatures approaching minus 163 degrees Celsius.

As part of this collaboration, Bostik will locally manufacture its specialised two-component polyurethane (2KPU) adhesive solution for GTT's Mark III membrane containment system. Developed for bonding triplex secondary membranes, the solution enables automated application while delivering the flexibility, durability and long-term performance required for reliable LNG containment throughout the operational lifetime of a vessel.
