PURELAM™ A9200/B9210 is Bostik’s best cost-in-use solvent-free laminating adhesive. Based on 100% solids, allowing you to reduce carbon emissions in your package manufacturing. This general-purpose solution provides excellent adhesion to common films, including PET, PE, OPP, metallized and clear, enabling you to further enhance the overall sustainability of a package structure by utilizing recyclable film materials if desired. Additionally, with this substrate versatility, you can also consolidate SKUs to reduce complexities.

Bostik has already taken the steps to ensure PURELAM™ A9200/B9210 are FDA compliant to ensure food safety for packaging such as coffee, rice and water, as well as hard-to-hold substances such as tomato sauce, vegetable oil and white vinegar. Through our testing, PURELAM™ A9200 and B9210 is proven to offer: 

• Low amine migration: Compliant with FDA 21 CFR §175.105, PURELAM™ A9200/B9210 offers low aromatic amines migration and passes FDA Conditions of Use B-H within a seven-day ambient cure. This solution achieves <2 ppb in four days or <0.6 ppb in seven days to achieve food safety and is fit for use with all food types up to hot fill applications.

• Pilot lamination: Before implementing our solutions on your own production lines, we use our pilot production scale laminator to test product performance, such as bond strength and material compatibility, on your desired films. This allows you to save valuable time and resources during the testing phase to continue running daily production while determining a suitable formulation for your packaging needs.  
• Migration testing: Specifically for migration testing in food packaging protocol development, we can study food simulants at sub parts-per-billion levels with our analytical equipment at our research center in Dublin, Ohio. We use this equipment to develop FDA letters for converters, which provides a full analysis of whether their food packaging met food regulations.
