Bostik Dampfix® Bond Breaker is a hybrid sealant designed to relieve bond tension between Dampfix® waterproofing membranes* and the substrate. It allows for the natural movement of a building, without risking the integrity of the waterproofing system.
- Ready to overcoat in under an hour
- Bubble free curing
- High tensile strength
- Can be applied on damp or moist substrates
Ideal Applications:
- Bond Breaker: For use with Dampfix® waterproofing membranes*.
- Waterproofing and Sealing: Ideal for under-tiling and as a joint bond breaker.
- Fillet Joint Sealant: Suitable for movement junctions (wall to wall, wall to floor, etc.) in waterproofing installations.
Suitable Substrates:
- Standard concrete or mortar
- Bare aluminium
- Glass
