THE NEED FOR CONSTRUCTION GROUT
Cement has a natural tendency to shrink during curing. There are two common forms of shrinkage:
- Early age shrinkage (also called plastic shrinkage) is predominantly due to water evaporating from the matrix
- Post hardening shrinkage (also called drying shrinkage) is a result of ongoing chemical reactions and hardening
We offer a range of multi-purpose non-shrink grouts, for structural and non-structural applications, including precision grouting, base plates, pre-cast components, machinery and equipment bases, anchor bolts, concrete repair, keyway joints, load bearing pads and other non-shrink applications.
Our specially formulated grouts are a mixture of high quality Portland cement and non-shrink additives to produce a durable, high-strength material useful for grouting and general concrete applications on both indoor and outdoor projects.
CONSTRUCTION GROUTS
Structural grouts are ideal for void filling. They are non-shrink, can be mixed to various consistencies depending on the application, and are available in specialty applications including rapid or slow setting.
Our Flowfill grouts are Class A (also referred to as General Purpose), and are non-shrink during the plastic state
Our Techflow grouts are Class C (also known as Performance Grouts), and are shrinkage compensated (non-shrink) during both the plastic and post hardened state
CONCRETE & PATCH REPAIR
Structural repair and maintenance is an integral part of concrete repair and patch work, which can occur on both horizontal and vertical surfaces across a range of structural elements.
Bostik’s range of concrete and patch repair have been created to specifically meet the needs and requirements of the job without compromising on quality and performance.
