DAMPFIX^® GOLD

Dampfix Gold is a one-part, water-based polyurethane waterproofing membrane made in Australia, reinforced with clump-free fibres, formulated to waterproof internal wet areas such as showers, bathrooms, kitchens, laundries and toilets, as well as external balconies, rooftops, podium levels and external pedestal overlay applications. With elongation of ≥1100%, it offers exceptional flexibility to handle substrate movement without cracking.

Why choose Dampfix Gold?
Dampfix Gold is a water-based, non-flammable Class 3 high-elasticity membrane that passes 2mm crack bridging requirements, resists detergents and bleach, and delivers excellent adhesion to concrete, rendered masonry, wet area plasterboard, FC sheet and plywood. It's available in gold and grey colours, allowing the applicator to alternate colours between coats so the second layer's coverage is easy to see and verify against the first, helping avoid missed spots. It complies with AS/NZS 4858:2004 (meeting AS3740 requirements) and AS 4654.1:2012 and AS 4654.2 for external areas, with structural plywood substrates required to be Type A Stamped to AS/NZS 2269-2004. 

Where to use it
Dampfix Gold waterproofs concrete, cement rendered masonry, FC sheeting, water-resistant plasterboard and structural plywood. Apply by brush, roller or trowel as a 2-coat system, using the gold and grey colour options to distinguish each coat as it's applied; it can go onto damp porous substrates provided there's no free water, and can be tiled directly using approved Bostik adhesives once cured.
