ULTRA MULTIPRIME A530

Bostik Ultra Multiprime A530 is a ready-to-use, acrylic-based primer designed to prep porous surfaces before tiling or waterproofing. There's no mixing required, so it goes straight from the container onto the substrate. It works by soaking into and sealing the pores of the surface, which improves bond and helps stop pinholes forming in the membrane above it.
Because it's built on an acrylic backbone, it can be used outdoors as well as indoors, on floors and walls alike. It evens out surface consistency and gives whatever goes on top - tile adhesive, a waterproofing membrane, or a cement-based system - the best possible start.

Why choose Ultra Multiprime A530?
It's a low-VOC formulation that's simple to apply with a brush, broom, or roller, and clean-up is just warm water and detergent while it's still wet. It touch-dries in around 30 minutes under normal conditions, so trades aren't left waiting around before moving on to the next step. Workmanship follows AS 3958.1, the recognised Australian standard for tiling installation, giving specifiers and installers confidence it fits into a compliant system.

Where to use it
Ultra Multiprime A530 is suited to porous substrates including concrete, render, fibre cement, plasterboard, Hebel, timber, and particleboard flooring with the right preparation. Very porous surfaces may need dampening first and more than one coat.

TIP: Use Ultra Multiprime A530 to prep porous substrates, then follow up with Ultra Level Screed C310 where the floor needs falls corrected or a smooth, level base before covering. One preps the surface for adhesion, the other builds the shape underfoot, and most jobs need both.
