DESIGN EPOXY
Design Epoxy is a two-part, cement-free epoxy system that works as both a grout and a tile adhesive, built for situations that demand high chemical and mechanical performance. It's supplied in a convenient single-pail kit with the colour pre-combined in Part A and the hardener in the lid, and its standout benefit is hygiene, resisting stains and chemical attack in the toughest environments.
It's suited to commercial kitchens, hospitals, laboratories, water treatment plants, and other settings where chemical resistance and cleanliness are non-negotiable, as well as swimming pools and other fully immersed areas. Being cement-free, it won't effloresce, keeping joints looking clean over the long term.
Why choose Design Epoxy?
Design Epoxy reaches a compressive strength of around 65 N/mm², giving it genuine mechanical toughness for high-traffic and industrial floors. It's non-efflorescing since it contains no cement, and it's highly resistant to abrasion, staining, and high-pressure cleaning, standing up to a broad range of organic acids, alkalis, fuels, oils, and cleaning agents once cured. It's classified RG (reaction resin grout) and R2T (improved reaction resin adhesive with slip resistance) under AS ISO 13007. It's suitable for fully immersed and permanently wet applications once fully cured.
Where to use it
Design Epoxy is used on wall and floor tiles, interior and exterior, and is compatible with all tile types including moisture-sensitive tiles and mosaics. It suits commercial kitchens, industrial areas, the food and beverage industry, hospitals, laboratories, water treatment plants, battery loading rooms, and electroplating rooms.
