EVOFLEX
Bostik Evoflex is a high polymer modified cementitious tile adhesive built with Bostik's own Evo-Lastic Technology. It bonds tiles and stone to a wide range of substrates and is purpose built for heavy, large format tiles. Its standout benefit is a smooth, easy trowel feel that stops big tiles from lipping, so every course sits flat and true.
It's suited to walls up to 2.7 metres high, high traffic floors, and tile-on-tile work over sound existing tiles, with the right preparation. It behaves like a two-part system while mixing and applying like a standard one-component adhesive, so there's no compromise between ease of use and performance.
Why choose Evoflex?
As a cementitious adhesive, Evoflex carries a VOC content under 1%, keeping job sites cleaner to work in. It's classified C2S2ET under AS ISO 13007, the industry standard confirming it's an improved, highly deformable adhesive with extended open time and non-slip performance. In practical terms, that means over 30 minutes of working time, more than 5mm of flex to absorb substrate movement, and a bond that holds strong after immersion testing, heat ageing, and freeze and thaw cycling, so it stands up to Australian conditions over the long term. It also allows grouting in as little as 6 to 8 hours, cutting turnaround on site.
Evoflex is made in Australia.
Where to use it
Evoflex bonds to concrete, render and green screeds, fibre cement and plasterboard, heated slabs, and compatible waterproofing membranes, as well as onto existing tiles for renovation work. It's not suitable for pools, water features, or other immersion applications, and it shouldn't be used on moisture sensitive stone or over timber, plywood, MDF, or particleboard.
TIP: For substrates such as timber and acoustic mat flooring, reach for Asaflex instead. Between the two, tilers can cover almost every fixing scenario without switching brands.
