PREP

Priming helps improve the consistency of the substrate, making it more accepting of waterproofing membrane therefore enhancing the bond between substrate and membrane. A well-primed surface can also improve the coverage of waterproofing membranes.

Bostik’s primer range includes Multiprime, Specialist Primer, and Prime Grip, each with it’s own strength and benefits for the relevant job.

SEAL

Waterproofing is a vital element in protecting your tiling work, preventing water from leaking into unwanted areas where it can cause damage. Typical areas that require waterproofing are laundries, shower stalls, bathrooms, kitchens, swimming pools and spas.

Bostik’s Dampfix range has a solution for all key areas. Dampfix Rapid allows the flow of work to continue without the delay of waiting for the membrane to dry. Two-part Dampfix Immersed is ideal for pools and ponds, while Dampfix Gold is a great all-rounder for indoors and out.

STICK

Modern design trends in residential and large-scale construction projects lead to greater expectations in how tiles are used and bonded to substrates. To further add to this complexity, tiles are fabricated from a wide number of materials and in a variety of sizes.

Delivering these design trends requires adhesives that can be mixed and applied in a variety of conditions and applications while accommodating varying weights and types of tiles.

Bostik offers a broad mix of cementitious adhesives that come in powder form for easy transportation, and are easy to mix on site. Furthermore, the broad range of cementitious and polymer modified adhesives in the Bostik range are purpose-made to allow tiles of varying sizes to stick to floors and walls, and can be used in both interior and exterior applications.

FINISH

Choosing the right grout to finish a tiling job can change the whole look of a room. Colour and texture all impact the finish. Our specially formulated urethane and epoxy grouts provide superior long-term durability without the need to apply topical sealers at any time over the life of the installation.

When tiling an area subjected to heavy traffic, water submersion, or chemical exposure, choosing an epoxy tile grout installation solution is always a smart decision. Bostik's Design Epoxy grout is renowned for its high strength and chemical resistance, making it a versatile solution for a wide range of demanding applications. Unlike other grouts where regular cleaning routines are necessary, the non-porous nature of epoxy resin does not allow dirt, grime or moisture to penetrate grout joints, making it ideal for heavy commercial applications. If your installation is subject to heavy wear or harsh conditions, Design Epoxy is an excellent preventative measure offering tenacious long-term adhesion and stain resistance.

Unlike epoxy tile grout, cementitious grout is made with a cement base and then mixed with water to form a paste. Cementitious grouts are easy to apply and clean up. Bostik cementitious grouts have superb working properties meaning less mess, less waste and a better finish. Suitable for interior and exterior tile projects, cementitious grouts can also be upgraded with Megalastic for more demanding situations.
