The best thing about the SL C510 PRO self-leveling compound is how incredibly well it flows and levels. It's important not to see any imperfections in your work.
Bostik offers the right solutions
Fedde Trinks, Account Manager for Flooring Technology at Bostik Netherlands, explains why this project is so interesting for Bostik. The work at NOA presents a comprehensive picture of a standard floor renovation: an area of 820 m² with holes and cracks to be repaired, leveled, and primed. PVC planks or carpet tiles are then adhered, depending on the intended use of the space.Fedde visits the site to provide advice and quickly determines that the following products provide the answer to this challenge: The SL C950 RENOQUICK is the suitable repair and leveling mortar for this job. The mortar cures quickly and is highly suitable for filling grooves and holes. After repairing the floor, a primer is applied. The GRIP A500 MULTI is a ready-to-use solvent-free dispersion primer that serves as an adhesion enhancer for floors and walls.
Bostik NOA reference project - Fedde
For leveling the floor surface, Fedde recommends the SL C510 PRO. This self-leveling compound has low internal stress and is therefore suitable for any renovation. Additionally, it spreads perfectly evenly, requires less sanding, and is ideal for heavy use. "We choose the SL C510 PRO because the PVC planks that will be installed on it are quite demanding. No telegraphing should be visible, and the floor must be perfectly smooth. Only when the subfloor is level can you achieve a beautiful result on top."Both the PVC planks and carpet tiles are adhered using the FIX A570 MULTITACK. The great advantage of this anti-slip adhesive is that the bonded tiles can be easily removed at any time. This feature supports the circularity of the floor, making it easier to reclaim and recycle after its lifespan.
The collaboration with S.B.R. Floors went smoothly
John Bestebreur from S.B.R. Floors knows his craft. He talks about how pleasant it is to work with Bostik products. He starts by sanding the floor, followed by thorough vacuuming. Then he applies the primer and levels the floor. John explains, "The best thing about the SL C510 PRO self-leveling compound is how well it flows and levels. It's important not to see any marks in your work." After 24 hours of drying, John proceeds to adhere the PVC flooring.Discover more case studies
