Discover Our Waterproofing System Using Our 3D Building Tool

The Bostik waterproofing range.

The 3D Building homepage shows visitors the view of a building and invites them to navigate to the part of the building they wish to learn more about.

The first choice is between ‘Exterior’ and ‘Interior’. The default view is a birds-eye view of a modern house, with buttons inviting exploration of different parts of the exterior: Flat roof, balcony, facade, windows and door, decorative basin, and basement exterior. Click on ‘Interior’ to go inside, where you can use buttons to explore waterproofing options in the living room, bathroom, and cellar.

Clicking on each button takes you to a close-up view of the floor or wall (or roof) being treated. Two different solutions are generally suggested for each situation, with details of the steps and products required.

The information is necessarily brief to keep the presentation simple, but there is always a ‘Read More’ button, which takes the visitor into the Bostik Library for specifications, product videos, and technical data sheets.

The 3D Building is a state-of-the-art digital platform through which Bostik’s impressive range of waterproofing systems can be showcased to great effect.

And this is just the start.

According to Alice Negro-Castro, Bostik’s Global Marcom Project Manager and a key person in the development of the 3D Building, the best feature of the tool is that it is user-friendly, and it takes the customer through a step-by-step introduction to Bostik’s waterproofing systems.

“In the future we want to add other product categories, such as flooring system (floor preparation + soft flooring and wood flooring).”

Similarly, Pedro Paredes, Technical Support and Training Director (Wall and Floor), sees plenty of opportunity for further development:

“We are always improving and learning from our mistakes and gaps. We will be adding the Wall and Floor Products as well as the Sealant and Bonding ranges to ensure our customers are aware that within Bostik you can count with a full system provider. We will also add short application videos to improve the connection with the end-users.”

Bostik Academy.

The Bostik Academy is Bostik’s centre of training excellence. Packed with people who are experts in their chosen fields, the Academy offers a variety of training possibilities. In the Classroom part of the Academy, you can sign up for personalised, in-person training or you can take online courses and watch webinars. The Library contains resources for reference such as information on systems, product portfolios, and technical data sheets.
