Meet STIX H900 RESIST+, a high-performance hybrid adhesive from Bostik designed to enhance and simplify the installation of resilient flooring in extreme conditions such as wet rooms, high-traffic areas, and areas that are subjected to high solar gain for extended periods.
With this one-component adhesive, the installer can focus solely on the task of installing the flooring with precision, without the need to consider mixing two components.

Technical advantages.
Ease of application.
One component, easily spread using a notched trowel. Wait a while, then install the flooring. Roll with a 60kg heavy metal roller, wait 10 minutes, then roll again.
Easy!
Excellent ridge formation.
Ridge formation is an important aspect of the application of adhesives for resilient flooring. Continuous ridges, once they are flattened by the roller, will ensure continuous lines of definite adhesion. Without ridges, there would be a risk that some parts of the flooring would not adhere adequately to the substrate.
With this in mind, STIX H900 RESIST+ has been engineered by Bostik to ensure that the ridges (formed by spreading the adhesive with a notched trowel) will hold their shape as the adhesive dries partially before the flooring is installed.
Strong initial grab.
The installation of resilient flooring benefits from using an adhesive with a strong initial grab. And, as you would expect, STIX H900 RESIST+ has been designed with that in mind. As the flooring is rolled out or fitted into position, the strong initial grab ensures that the naturally flexible flooring will not slip or buckle but will hold tight to the substrate.
This strong initial grab is also useful for fixing wall coverings, too.
Fast setting time.
After the flooring has been put down and the roller has been employed, the next step is to wait for full curing. Walk-on time is 12 hours, and full curing after about 24 hours (depending on conditions).
High bond strength.
STIX H900 RESIST+ has been designed to have a high bonding strength, as you would expect from a robust hybrid adhesive that can do the job in challenging building conditions.
Versatility and Application.
STIX H900 RESIST+ is a seriously versatile product. Not only is it suitable for installing resilient flooring in challenging environments but it is also a 2-in-1 product that can also be used for wall coverings.
As a demonstration of its versatility, you can use STIX H900 RESIST+ on top of the following substrates:
- Walls and floors
- Absorbent and non-absorbent substrates
- Dense substrates (e.g. ceramic tile, resin flooring)
- Flexible or deformable substrates (e.g. metal, wood, underlayment)
- Over a floor with underfloor heating
- Extreme conditions and heavy traffic areas
- Can be used outside (if under shelter and there is no risk of ponding of water)
- Artificial grass and sports floor covering
- Wall protective panels
Sustainable packaging.

Take the area of product packaging, for example. When given the choice between shiny virgin plastic and slightly less shiny recycled plastic, Bostik will always choose recycled.
