Project overview
The Pabellón M Auditorium is an auditorium located in the city of Monterrey, Nuevo León. The auditorium, 38 metres high, 58 metres wide and 78 metres long, was built with 32000 m3 of concrete and covered on the outside with 7350 m2 of Trespa phenolic panels (HPL). The exterior HPL panels were installed as a ventilated façade by means of 100% chemical bonding with Bostik's PanelTack™ HM adhesive, the most specified ventilated façade installation system in the world.
Bostik's solution
The Pabellón M Auditorium features a striking elliptical design and required innovative exterior cladding. The challenge was to install 7,350 m² of Trespa HPL panels efficiently while maintaining aesthetic appeal. Bostik's PanelTack HM™ adhesive was used for a ventilated façade system, which allowed for a faster, cleaner installation without drilling or visible fasteners. This method provided superior thermal and acoustic insulation, and reduced maintenance costs. The adhesive also enhanced the building’s aesthetics by keeping the façade smooth and sleek. The project was completed with significant time and cost savings, showcasing Bostik’s commitment to high-quality, efficient solutions in architectural applications.
