Adhesives specialist to moderate and present on adhesive technologies, compatibility and applications in filtration and filter media
Bostik, a leading global adhesive specialist for the industrial, construction and consumer markets, will present on adhesives in filtration at the American Filtration & Separations Society (AFS) Fall Conference in San Diego, CA.
This year’s conference, the Clean Air and Water Solutions Conference, runs from October 24-27. It features technical presentations, short courses and tabletop exhibits. Topics range from water treatment technologies to air filtration testing. AFS will also offer tours through the Claude “Bud” Lewis Carlsbad Desalination Plant.
On Wednesday, October 26, Bostik’s Business Development Engineer Derek Hofsess will moderate the Adhesives for Filters conference session from 1:15 – 3:15 p.m. PT. This session will feature presentations from Bostik, Nordson and Graco and discuss adhesives in filtration, filter manufacturing and dispense equipment used in the filtration industry.
During this Wednesday session, Hofsess will present on adhesives in filtration. In particular, the presentation will focus on hot melt adhesive properties, application methods, end uses and why specific chemistries are best suited to certain filtration applications.
