Adhesives manufacturing company to feature innovative hot melt, web, film and water-based adhesives
Bostik, a leading global adhesive specialist for industrial, construction and consumer markets, has announced it will exhibit at Foam Expo in Novi, MI on February 28-March 2.
Foam Expo is the first exhibition, conference and networking event for the technical foam industry and makes its debut this year. Organized by Smarter Shows and free to attend, it will serve all types of materials used in foam and foam-related product manufacturing. Foam Expo also will offer informational sessions on the foam industry while hosting over 200 exhibitors at the Suburban Collection Showcase.
During the event, Bostik will feature hot melt, web (nonwoven), film and water-based adhesive products for the aerospace, assembly, automotive and tape and label markets as well as highlight the company’s Ann Arbor facility’s equipment capabilities. Additionally, Bostik will promote environmentally friendly replacement solutions for solvent-based adhesives.
In particular, these products will include hot melt adhesives that are ideal for textile laminating and foam bonding applications and offer high internal strength, tack and peel. Bostik’s featured Sharnet® and standard web adhesives will demonstrate the breadth of the company’s capabilities to produce webs that offer adhesion to a range of substrates, including textiles, vinyls and urethane foams, as well as additional features (e.g. fire retardants). For more demanding applications, Bostik’s featured film adhesive possesses a low activation temperature and good flow properties with excellent adhesion to fabrics and foams. Furthermore, the company’s water-based solution at the show offers superior adhesion to difficult substrates.
