V4 METAL & MASONRY SILICONE
Bostik V4 is a one component, non-flowing, neutral cure, low modulus silicone sealant, formulated to bond metal and masonry substrates including precast and concrete panels, anodized aluminium, and coated copper and brass plaques. It cures to form a highly elastic, non-slumping seal that handles ±35% joint movement without failure.
Suited to expansion joints on pavers and general building and construction sealing, it's a trusted choice among installers for its superior adhesion to metal and masonry and its excellent natural ageing stability, even under harsh conditions and temperature extremes.
Why choose Bostik V4?
It's a neutral cure, low modulus sealant with a non-slumping formula, so it stays where it's applied even on vertical joints. Once cured, it delivers ±35% dynamic movement capacity, 600% elongation, and excellent accelerated ageing and weathering performance to ASTM C792, backed by long life reliability and a peel strength after UV through glass of 67N/25mm.
Where to use it
Bostik V4 bonds precast and concrete panels, anodized aluminium, coated copper and brass plaques, and polycarbonate sheeting. It's also used for splashbacks and expansion joints on pavers as a general purpose building and construction sealant.
It is not suitable for aquariums, structural glazing applications, underwater use, or some stone substrates without a prior stain test.
