6S NEUTRAL CURE SILICONE

Bostik 6S is a neutral-cure silicone sealant purpose-built for wet areas, covering bathrooms, kitchens, laundries, and tiling work. It's formulated with a fungicide that resists mould and mildew growth, so seals stay cleaner for longer in humid environments. 
It bonds well to ceramic tiles, porcelain, glass, aluminium, powder-coated metal, and most plastics without corroding metal surfaces, and it's low in odour, making it more pleasant to use in confined spaces like showers. It's non-slumping in standard joints and holds a service temperature range wide enough for cool rooms and fridges.

Why choose 6S?
Once cured, it handles a service temperature from -50°C to 150°C, so it's just as at home in a cool room as it is behind a kitchen splashback. It carries a dynamic movement capacity of ±25% to accommodate everyday joint movement, and it's rated excellent for accelerated ageing and weathering under ASTM C792, with solid UV performance confirmed by peel-strength testing through glass. It meets the NZFSA C82 standard for sanitary applications. 

Where to use it
6S suits ceramic tiles, tile and grout lines, fibreglass spa units, shower screens, powder-coated metal, and kitchen benchtop and splashback edges, plus cool rooms where the wide service temperature range matters.
