As part of the Arkema group, our CSR approach at Bostik is regularly assessed by extra-financial rating agencies and our clients on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria basis. These ratings, which are especially interesting for investors, confirm the adequacy of our CSR approach and rank us among the best performing companies in our sector. This includes:

• Dow Jones Sustainability Indices: Arkema raises its ranking to 3rd place in 2021 Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (among 139 companies in the ‘chemicals’ category)
• MSCI ‘A’ rating since 2017
• CDP ‘A-‘ rating for Climate Change and a ‘B’ rating for Water Security in 2020
• Euronext: included in the Europe 120 and Eurozone 120 indices since 2015
• 2020 EcoVadis: Arkema ranks among the top 1% of companies in the sector since 2014 
• FTSE4: Renewed every year since initial inclusion in 2015

Participation in European and global initiatives

Engagement in worldwide initiatives includes:

• Becoming a signatory on the Responsible Care Global Charter in 2006, 
• Joining the Together For Sustainability initiative (TfS) in 2014
• Endorsing the 10 principles of The Global Compact, which focused on issues such as environmental protection
• Committing to the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals and to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development
• Embracing the Paris Climate Agreement in 2020, seeking to help contain global warming
• Also in 2020, joining the World Business Council Agreement, a CEO-led organisation that focuses on transitioning to a more sustainable world
• Acting as Platinum Sponsor for the 2021 Sustainability Awards
